Going Slow

Back at work, trying to keep myself from getting too badly stressed. As a free-lancer, I find it really difficult to say ‘no’ to a job offer, but today I had to do so. I already have enough work on my desk for the next two months and really can’t take on any more - at least, not until mid-November.

And I need to try and find more time for myself. Even if it’s just for a few minutes in the garden every day; not working but looking what’s going on.

Today I watched these two grove snails, apparently trying to crawl into each other’s shells. I suppose they were busy making more snails, which isn’t really what a gardener wants - but these mostly eat algae and dead plant matter, so they are welcome to stay and multiply.
