LMS Royal Scot steaming through Charfield

Picture changed.

A grey drizzly day after a night of poor sleep, and therefore there is today a blip with little real merit. This little fly was happily de-nectaring the damp flowerheads before stopping here for a bit of a cleanup. (now in the extra)

And then the phone rang...

"Steam coming through the village in five minutes time! Might stop in the loop or it might thunder through."

Off I went... little time to get to a good vantage point, so instead I stood on the road bridge over the line. If she stopped in the loop I was in the wrong position, but I had no time. As it happens, she did the thunder through thing.

Just goes to show... don't blip too early! Minimal processing because of the low light, but quite a show from the exhaust, and oh that smell...

Probably better large.
