Pass with care

They have been renovating a block of flats in town for a long time and there have been nets to protect pedestrians from falling masonry. However, this morning there was a delivery and it was quite difficult to get past the lorry. Market and supermarket shopping were quickly done. There were just five of us at French conversation. Afterwards I went back home for a quick turnaround and some tea and cake before setting off for tennis. Two people cried off because the skies looked threatening. Two of us gave it a go but only managed 25 minutes of singles before the heavens opened. Still, it was better than nothing.
