A hairline problem

Sunday morning I discovered that the water tank in my CPAP unit had sprung a leak, easy to detect where by putting on a piece of kitchen towel.  I emailed the CPAP spares department for a replacement, and one is apparently on the way.
 
In the meantime a macro of the cause will suffice for Tiny Tuesday.
 
On close inspection there are stress fractures in the plastic either side of the heat transfer plate, so it was only a matter of time before one opened up.
 
Quite pleased with this macro - SOTC other than a bit of cropping.  Lit with a single hand held Cree led torch to bring out the fractures.
