Deer Damage

Today's picture is of our Helleborus plant and the separated Helleborus blooms. A deer had been in the garden and bitten off all but one of these flowers during the night. I did take a picture of a very cold female Mallard first thing this morning, which I was going to use, but I thought these might indicate that although the deer are pretty, they are very, very destructive.
