A Donkey for Palm Sunday

This is Charlie, a very gentle and placid beach donkey who joined us in church this morning. The children adored him.

One year it was 'Dennis' who came to our small cathedral. I was in Canterbury that year and their donkey was called 'Philosopher.' Says it all really, doesn't it!
