The King of the Pond

This Heron stole the show today. Walking round to our local pond I wondered what wildlife I would find on this cold windy Spring morning.
The heron was half hidden in the bushes, but thinking this may be my only chance to get a blip today I fired off half a dozen shots.
As I walked round more and more photos seemed likely so I just kept snapping away. A hundred and twenty shots later my hands were frozen so it was time to go home and delete a few.
