Kelpies

Our final full day in Scotland and it was just lovely - T-shirt weather and blue skies. We had been waiting for a nice day to visit the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel(extra), and today turned up trumps for us. Both are very impressive and we were lucky enough to see the Falkirk Wheel in action, albeit with "tourists" going up and down. On our way home we stopped off at Flanders Moss again intent on seeing some lizards taking in the sunshine, and sure enough there were quite a few sunbathing on the boardwalk (extra).
We came back very happy and not really wanting to go home tomorrow, but I guess we need to spend a few days at home before we go off for another adventure.
