Fluffy

The only shot I took after witnessing (or better being in the middle of) a dog fight.
I met a neighbour and his Irish setter on the fields and while we were talking a young girl and her mother with a dachshund and a big white dog came towards us. All dogs on leashes, young girl on the other end of dachshund and big white dog.
The big white dog attacked the Irish setter (out of nowhere as far as I can tell, but it all happened so quick....). Iris setter was being bit and lying flat on the ground, big white dog above him and would not let loose and then the neighbour attacked big white dog (and was able to push him of his dog). Mother of young girl took off....
After they were separated Irish setter was sitting some 15 m away on the field, not moving one bit while the other two wouldn't stop barking and pulling. It was scary.
Quite some yelling between young girl and mother afterwards, while my neighbour was very calm, considering what had just happened. Don't they always tell you never to go between fighting dogs? I guess he feared for his dogs life or major injuries.

Both Irish setter and neighbour were humbling home, so I expect to hear they both needed a doctor. Didn't know the young girl and her mother, but neighbour seemed to know who they were. I'm still a bit shaky.
