Squeezing Lemons

The carved stone shown in the thumbnail is a feature that is repeated throughout the house and grounds.

The detail inside the house is carved in wood and appears on the elaborate main stair as well as the more modest servants stair.

I have called it the lemon squeezer, but I have yet to find out the correct name.
