A Droopy...

An unusual flower from my garden. Normally the drooping tail is upright, and the only part seen above the leaves.


Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s cluster of freesia flowers. Ever since childhood they have been one of my favourite spring bulbs with their pure colour and sweet perfume. These ones are growing in a pot with a tall growing succulent - the stem is what you can see catching the light in the photo.




Covid update - Day 27 of lockdown
33 new cases today, all in Auckland
955 community cases since the start of this outbreak
360 have recovered to date
21 in hospital, with 4 in intensive care

Auckland remains in Level 4 for another week, until 11.59pm next Tuesday. It is expected they will move to Alert Level 3.
The remainder of NZ remains at Level 2 until next Tuesday, 21st September.

Covid isn’t widespread, but several mystery cases are concerning.
