Football! Hearts v Hubs up at Tynecastle. One of the more entertaining nil-nil draws we’d seen served up in recent years. Debutant Ben Woodburn certainly caught the eye. That laddie is class, quoth the coach. I thought we had the best of it, but we were only still in the game thanks to the heroics on more than one occasion of our keeper, Scotland’s no1, Craig “I kent his faither” Gordon. Talking of Currie, later we watched a very lovely documentary about Del Amitri. What very nice chaps they are. Right, time to pack. Y’see I didn’t spend all afternoon in the pub. Not quite.
