Hampden Park
Whilst in Scotland I was able to pop across to Glasgow and meet up with some friends to watch the Scotland V's Wales match at Hampden Park.
I have to say it was the coldest I have ever been, as the driving snow and windy conditions meant it was impossible to stay warm. Which is why I respect the fact that so many Scottish fans were still dressed in their kilts, just goes to show that they are much tougher up North.
The match wasn't great with Scotland losing 2-1 to Wales but there was a decent atmosphere, especially when the crowd roared out Flower of Scotland which is one of my favourite anthems and watching live sport is one of my favourite experiences.
I also love how strong the Scottish identity is and how this manifests itself through clothing with some really elaborate outfits. I liked these guys who sat in front of us with the most amazing bird feathers proudly attached to their hats.
