Hibiscus - native, I think
I'm on a mission to get colourful blips for our northern neighbours who are suffering incredibly cold weather at the moment.
I'm pretty sure that this is a native Hibiscus (Alyogyne huegelii) growing in an Open Garden we went to this afternoon. The garden was quite formal, on the flat part of Adelaide, and really not to my taste. Not like yesterdays, which was a lot wilder and up in the Hills.
I did get a bee's bum in it, so all was not lost.
It's an incredibly busy weekend, we even managed to get in a couple of much needed hours of gardening.
Ever so many thanks to everyone who looked at, commented on, granted me hearts and sprinkled my beautiful bee with stars yesterday. We got to the top spot in the Spotlight, and I thought that was just lovely.
