Red darter

We had a walk at Park End Moss this afternoon as the sun appeared for a while.
The Moss is getting quite dry, but there was still water for the dabchick to fish for her juvenile.
On the fence was a darter, species to be confirmed. It was using the fence as a hunting perch and didn’t mind being photographed. Nor did the fly!
