Before the wind

We have wind warnings in place and I was fooled a couple of times today by increasing gusts. Then it would die away to a steady breeze.

Tonight will be worse. The station owner of the accommodation I've booked for the coming week phoned to warn me that they've lost power.

I can't control what happens and have a plan B and C in place. I don't leave until Tuesday and a lot could happen between now and then.

Today's gratitude: For a -ive covid test result. I'm still snotty so remain isolated from others.
