Spraying

Well that tennis match was very stressful but I was glad we were able to watch it on Channel 4.  Well done to both girls for putting on such an entertaining couple of hours and how amazing to have a British winner.

This morning, whilst out walking, I met a lady who comes from a farming background and she told me that where fields have been ploughed and footpaths not reinstated, then there is a permissive right of way to walk around the outside margins.  That's something new that I've learnt.

I also learnt that the "big field" is owned by two different farmers and this one was spraying his patch.
