A long lie in

Husband and I had breakfast in bed today and didn't surface until nearer 12 by which time I had decided it was lunchtime so made mini pizzas - crumpets with fresh chillies cheese and tomato - grated carrot on the side woohoo. We sat and polished shutter door knobs and window lifts whilst watching formula 1 qualifiers. My cold is in full flow today.

This evening we were FORCED to go to Em and Stu's to drink gin, eat curry, play friends quiz and play cards. Awful friends they make us do bad things. It was a brisk walk home it's soooooo cold.

Very exciting news em and stu hot their mortgage offer so they can move to their new pad this summer. It's going to be awesome. I'm so excited for them.

Ps never play cards with Dales. She is a true ringer - the shuffle gives it away.
