Ground Cherry

I love the big red husks of the chinese lantern plant, so when my brother-in-law offered some seedlings I jumped at the chance.  My garden hasn't been very productive this year and these plants, along with many others, did not thrive as expected and those large red lanterns did not appear.  However, further research tells me that these are from the same family, Physalis,  commonly known as ground cherries (which can be invasive which BiL warned me about, so are grown in a container!), and this dying sprig makes for a wonderful "creative flower photography" subject.  I also tried one with a white background (extra), but prefer the drama of the black.
