Beautiful New Zealand

Today Dr D took us out for a jaunt in the Landcruiser...the first time I've been out the gate in a month , thanks to various levels of covid lockdown. We headed south turning towards Maihiihi  and stopped here, way up in the hills south of Maihiihi and east of Otorohanga amongst hill country sheep farms and a few dairy farms too. The road here was single lane gravel with grass going up the middle and we looked north over South Waikato as we enjoyed our picnic lunch and thermos tea and a wee slice of the fruit cake I had made yesterday. A beautiful day to see the luxuriant spring farm pasture and countryside.
