Aloha

A festival in the shade of the big oak trees in Cupertino. I went because a friend of mine was in a flash mob - something I've always wanted to do, but being there knowing it was going to happen was almost as good. It was wonderfully multicultural, with Indian classical dancers (1st extra), Korean vocal music, Bach and Pachelbel on violins (2nd extra), as well as the hula and the flashmob hoedown. (3rd extra).
In our first few months in the US (more than 25 years ago) we lived in an apartment just over the fence from this park - it brought back memories of that surreal time to be there again. Little changed except they've drained the lake.
