Oh the places we will go!

The babies and I went for our first walk along the trail this morning. We didn't go far but we found rocks, the creek, new weeds and all the smells! Some of those bigger rocks (basketball size) were scary at first, I mean they just sit there but Wilka was certain it was a ruse. Bicyclists are fast and Willa isn't certain why people jog, she tried barking at them to ask why but none of them stopped. I've been hesitant to go in the evenings since Persephone just won't walk in the heat so when Willa woke us up at 7 this morning it seemed a good time to go. Coming home we played in the sprinkler to cool off then took a quick nap on the kitchen floor. It's rough being a puppy! We did go for a quick weigh in at the vet to get heart worm medication. They turned 5 months old yesterday, Willa is now 12.8 pounds and Persephone is a 7 pounds on the nose.
