Despite everything, the sun comes up tomorrow.

I mentioned the death of the closest person I've ever know, a tragedy that turned out to be murder. We have the killer it seems, but our judicial system is slow. He's even out of jail on bail (under watch of course). It's a very frustrating situation. Grieving isn't very easy to begin with.

My wife and I drove to Garland to support some friends of ours who were playing a show there. They are the singer/songwriter types, and excellent musicians and writers. They invited us to be their guest, as I'm building their new website for the release for their new album, The Sun Comes Up Tomorrow.

Though I've already heard most of the tracks, tonight reminded me that despite everything the sun does come up tomorrow. It maybe bad, it maybe terrible, but life does start afresh and new each day. It has its own challenges, and while some are carried over from previous days, all things do become new again at some point.
