Zombie Nation

I took myself off for a bit of retail therapy today, what a disaster!

I needed to find a pair of shoes to go with my potential wedding outfit; it’s sooooo hard when you can’t wear heels. Even before the accident, I always had wide feet so that again comes with challenges trying to find nice shoes to fit my massive hooves.

Already frustrated with not finding what I wanted, I got further anxiety by the other shoppers who just wander round like zombies. Some people have no spacial awareness or seemingly no awareness that there are other people on the planet.

6500 steps later, I gave up with people and shoes and set off home.

Traffic was a nightmare, so I ended up taking a different route home and spied ‘Wynsor’s World of shoes’.
Not expecting much, other than plastic school shoes and old lady sandals, I actually found a low wedge heeled sandals, wide fitting and the perfect colour that I was looking for.
Best of all, they were in the sale!! Happy days.

Tonight’s plan is a meal for one, a bottle of rose and catch up with MAFS :-)
