Far From Home

Urban orienteering today at Great Linford, Milton Keynes, then a short walk along the Grand Union canal. Numerous boats, both narrow & wide-beam. This one caught my eye as it proudly proclaims that it's from Hayle. Cornwall isn't famous for its canal network, so???? Apparently there was a short stretch of canal built in Hayle to serve the metalworks, & the longer Bude canal is being regenerated, but my searches haven't unearthed any information about this particular craft.
