A good day to clean the car

Our car has been in need of a clean for a while,  but being black, washing it on a bright day just results in lots of water marks.  Yesterday turned out to be ok for the washing and today for the polish and vacuum session.  Its looking good now, I've even cleaned the shuts on the windows so we won't have those dusty lines around the edges where the glass goes into the frame when closed.

My blip is the clouds reflected in the bonnet.

I had near finished when Gill announced she needed more chippings for the garden and did I like the idea of a trip out?   Thankfully, the bags were dry(ish) and we managed to get them home without undoing any of my effort :-)
