Offset Santa Aura

An aura is the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person, thing or place.
This broken Santa bauble has been sitting a corner of our living room below the telly since last Christmas looking abandoned and bereft. I've felt a bit guilty about it's parlous state since it caught my eye again today. Therefore, I felt I needed to give him a chance in the limelight!
I liked the contrast between it being completely unseasonal, the spiky bush outside our extension window and the strong afternoon sunshine,  which has cast this slightly surreal aura. I offset it to one side to give it a more jaunty appeal but in black and white to give him a bit a gravitas to make up for my neglectful behaviour. I'll let you decide if you think this works or is an absolute load of old tosh!
