Common White Butterfly

This is the common white butterfly that lays its eggs in the vege garden on your cabbage and brocoli . But here it is at the Wetlands on a thistle flower. The wetlands have indeed become more wet than they have been over the summer. the rain we had a week or so ago has replenished the water in the river and in the ponds area, could still do with more just to fill in the ponds. The bird life is now harder to find as they have spread out to all areas now and they look much happier now they can swim rather than wade.
