SILLY SATURDAY - THERE WERE 5 IN THE BED...

Hello Lovely Blippers,

What a night!  We were all awake until about 2 o’clock this morning because someone quite near was having a party and the music was LOUD!  It kept us awake for a long time, and I know that Mr. & Mrs. HCB were awake too, so when it was time to get up, we felt quite sleepy.

However, in the true spirit of carrying on, we decided that we would still do something for Silly Saturday in memory of dear Admirer and we think she would have giggled if she could have seen us.

I’m sure you all know the song - but if you don't, here it is!

“There were 5 in the bed, 
And the little one said, “Roll over”
So they all rolled over and one fell out…”

There were 4 in the bed… and so it goes on - so I hope you will sing it all the way through with us.

At the end of this song there is only one left in the bed and that just happened to be Tiny, but he wasn't lonely, he was just pleased to be the centre of attention and to have the big bed all to himself.

Here we all are - 5 then 4 then 3 then 2 then 1 - and there is also a photograph in the collage of those of us who “rolled over” and fell out - and believe me, it was a big drop down to the floor, but thankfully, there is a lovely thick carpet in our bedroom, so we didn’t hurt ourselves.

P.S.  Mr. HCB has got lots of  Brownie points today - he brought Mrs. HCB flowers, blackberries, strawberries, tomatoes and cucumber!  She says it's worth him pottering in the garden!
