Concrete Evening

Bangkok's mix of old and new buildings makes it a city of concrete. I wonder how many concrete mixer trucks were used to make one neighborhood. To multiply that by a whole city...Wow. Probably more than that is the number of cockroaches that call this city home too. Sorry...got sidetracked in my pondering...

With about 12 million people making their home in Bangkok, transportation is important. There are the usual buses, motorbikes, taxis, tuk tuks and subway. But the skytrain is one of the best ways of getting around downtown. For less than $2.00 you can get from northern Bangkok to southern Bangkok in about an hour. Or a few minutes to go a few stops.
