The Owl

Nick was excited and sure this new companion brought wisdom, as associated with Athena in one of his Rick Riordan books. I was sure this bird might swoop down at me while taking the shot, but a closer glance reveals that it's sleeping. We've never had an owl so close to the house. A unique and fun discovery!
