Spectacles

The saga of my specs continues. Norm rang them today to see if my glasses were ready. Apparently the reply was “ there are no glasses on order for her” The man who promised me a free pair with the lenses I want (Essilore) is on holiday. They said they knew nothing about this pair that was supposed to be compensation for losing both my mine and Norm’s glasses. Norm pointed out that the woman who answered was sitting there when the optician said it. Allegedly they’re ordering them now and it will be another 4 weeks. That won’t make much difference after nearly 6 months! 
I promise not to rant again for a few weeks!
