Cloud of Cosmos

It’s been a challenge gardening here, partly it’s a jungle, partly a desert of self seeded pests (alkanet in particular) and partly an architectural slab of inappropriate plants - huge purple shrubs slap up against ancient hazel hedgeline.  So although with help I’ve made some inroads it’s not really even started.  But these cosmos have been a joy. I bought seedlings and they went in ages ago but the flowers now are a delight and I can keep picking them.  

Heavy showers but sunshine at walk time.
