Pier

We set off for Alnmouth mid-afternoon to fetch Lucy, my daughter, from the train station - she’s come to stay for a long weekend, for the first time in almost a year.

After 2 days of good weather, today was grey and misty, and just after we left the station the heavens opened, thankfully for only a short time. The rain had stopped by the time we reached Amble, for some sea air, a walk on the pier, and fish & chips. Lovely!
