Orchids!

I was picking figs this afternoon …
. When I saw this flowering Orchid… what a surprise!
I always keep the pot of orchids under the fig tree …. because the tree provides good shade during the hot summer
I wasn’t expecting any flowers until late next Spring!

The usual orchids are yellow…
so this pale mauve colour was another surprise!!

I’ve pulled the plant pot out…
and put it close to the terrace….
I might as well enjoy the bonus orchids as they’ve arrived!
