The Milestone, Hadrian’s Wall Country.

Another fiasco getting a drink at lunchtime. This time it was The Twice Brewed Inn above Haltwhistle near Hadrian’s Wall. The scenario was the same as the cafe at Brantwood.
Fortunately The Milecastle Inn just down the road, welcomed us with open arms!
The walk we did on Hadrian’s Wall in the hot sun had pretty much drained us so we stayed in at night and had a drink in the caravan.
