Back in play after a period of non use. There was a plumbing concern some long time ago which turned out to be ill-founded. And this was further confirmed today by a friend. Seems to be working well after a few trial cycles today.

We went for a drive locally this afternoon. Garden centre takeaway coffee.

Older son and daughter-in-law came for dinner; quite impromptu get together, but nice catchup. And I used the dishwasher again. They’re in England this weekend so good to hear a bit of their plans. I’d add I’m always happy washing dishes etc by hand, but it’s good to know it’s functional.

Watched elements of Scottish Government Debate: COVID-19 Vaccine Certification Scheme. There were some genuine points well made by various MSPs and a lot of heat but no light by others. It passed into law and will come into effect on 1 October. Various Sector discussions will take place between now and the introduction of the Passport Scheme. Hopefully it’ll help with controlling aspects of the virus.
