Rain, rain go away

Last night so what is referred to as a “Mediterranean episode.” Two months rain fell overnight quite near here but fortunately we were spared the worst of it and I even managed to play tennis this morning in the sunshine. However the further rain that was forecast has now arrived and it looks like we may have an unsettled period. The afternoon has been less interesting doing accounts for the painting Association and writing a letter to the French tax office – all rather boring!
