A Tangle of Gold….

Keith and I usually watch the I.00pm briefing on TV each day. The good news is that there were only 13 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Auckland today.
Well done Aucklanders for sticking to the Level Four Lockdown rules.
The days are getting longer by two to three minutes per day. I had no need for a head-torch this morning. Maisie raced everywhere as we walked to the Burleigh Bridge and back. I loved walking alongside the river berms where plantings of native trees and shrubs are growing so well. This tangled bunch of Kowhai flowers were a vivid shade of yellow in the early morning sunshine. A feast for the eyes.
