Dartmoor

Walk on Dartmoor today. I got chased off by the leader of the pack, presumably the male, while I was snapping the ponies. A local man told us that there is a mixture of Dartmoor and Shetland ponies. The Shetland ones were introduced to the Moor as they are more robust, having shorter legs. They'd need to be hardy, living through Shetland winters.
