Hesperantha

We were promised rain and thunderstorms but it didn’t really materialise. We had some rain but the ground is so dry more is needed. We have been taking up some lavender plants in the garden which are past their best and will be replaced. A walk after lunch when the sun came out and it became very warm. Whereas yesterday the beach was as busy as we have seen it, it was almost deserted this afternoon.
This is a bulb which appears every autumn at this time of year and brightens a corner of the garden.
