Lots of activity on this self seeded lilac buddleia shrub.  Its the first year its flowered so good to see bees and butterflies enjoying it.    Saw a baby mouse in the garden earlier, it looked a bit lost or perhaps it was frightened when it saw me.  It got me thinking of all the wildlife I've seen in the garden over the years.  Just for my benefit I'm listing my sightings (before I forget!)
mouse, rats, squirrels, frogs, newts, mole, rabbit, pheasants, deer, weasels, bats.  Would love to see a fox.  

Took Misty to the estuary this afternoon as noticed the tide was in when I got back with groceries.  She had fun paddling and I slipped on mud and fell over.  Got plastered in the stuff very yucky!
