Great Day, Great Langdale
Back out with octogenarian G, as ever an inspirational enthusiasm for life, challenge and adventure.
Wowsers was it hot, any hint of a breeze was welcome relief, but my oh my was it also glorious. Very very little water to be seen though, I've never seen the Stickle or Dungeon ghylls so low.
We took a lovely little (100m) grade 2 scramble up Thorn Crag and then descended to the base of Loft Crag and took a slightly longer (& tougher, though still the same grade) scramble up to its summit.
Then a lovely wander back down via Pike Howe.
