The Verge

Mum and I went to Stoke Lyne a bit earlier today so it wasn't as hot as yesterday. That was a big fat fail, it was roasting again! But at least I was wearing a t-shirt this time.
Elsie's a bit off colour so it was just Archie and River today. Lots more chasing of partridges and excited snuffling in hedgerows and charging like loons through the stubble fields.
We talked about Dom a lot. He loved it there.
It's been getting harder and harder the last few days. I think the disbelief is wearing off and the reality of never seeing him again is settling in.
It's shit.
The afternoon was spent listing things on eBay. Sofas, sewing boxes, duvets. Every little helps!
