Flamingos at Birdland  Bourton on the Water today where we went for a long anticipated blipmeet after it was first suggested pre covid by Fitzbilly and StevenG.  LooseCanon  and Hildasrose were there also. What a cracking hot day it was too. After lunch at Birdland we went into the village to  have a quick look around.
As we queued to get a cooling ice cream, Rose felt a bit overheated and had to sit down on the pavement to recover. ( ! ).
They cut the afternoon short and the rest of us went to look round the church. The village was very busy with late holidaymakers and non school age children. The warm spell will end this evening probably in thunderstorms, such is British weather.

Extras are a couple of pelicans catching the light in the river, more flamingos and a little fluffy grey flamingo chick wondering which were its mother's legs I suspect
