Geese

I think these are Brent geese. They are part of a large flock feeding on the scattered grain after the field was harvested and are likely to be in transit for the autumn migration as they are not resident around us (that pleasure is with the Canada geese.) They are probably as confused as we are by the current hot weather after the long period of overcast skies and chilly days and nights.
Some gardening this morning followed by Tai Chi and then catching up on family and friends via email.
