Something grisly in the asters

I don't know what's going on - it looks like a wasp devouring a fly which is caught in a spider's web. No sign of the spider and just after I pressed the shutter the wasp took off. I can't improve on the focus - this is it. Horrible, but good for WildWed.

A lengthy meeting in the garden last night. Up earlier this morning than I had to be too. Our younger granddaughter arrived as usual at 07:00. At that point it was very misty but the sun has burned off all the mistiness and it is a beautiful warm day. Sunny and still with a really pleasant temperature.

It's yoga tonight. I missed last week so it will be good to get back to the stretches. Then, after two late evenings, I'm going to be in bed early with my book, the radio and a chamomile tea!
