Day 22 Level 4 Lockdown

We set off on our walk about 7:30am this morning, thinking we’d beat the rain but, about 1km down the road soft drops started and gradually got heavier and heavier.  So, we had to cut our walk short and arrived back home soggy and cold and have walked only 3.3kms.
The photo on the left side of the blip shows the first flowers appearing on a Kowhai tree (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kōwhai) just along the road from us. The photo on the right side of the blip is taken from one of our windows.  It has rained all day, with gale strength winds at time.  
There were only 15 new community cases today, so our hopes are rising for a move to Level 3 next week.
