Boy with a dolphin
It is a graceful and lighter than air statue. An icon on the Chelsea embankment. By Sir David Wynne, unveiled in 1975 and modelled on his 11-year old son Roly. Now dedicataed to Roly "In memoram Roland David Amadeus Wynne 1964 - 1999 who posed for this statue".
Bit of a melancholy day in London today. Much snow, none of it lying thankfully, but not fun to get around in. And the stallholders in the market were having a cold time with not much business to warm them up.
