Strude Mill

Apart from the big hills, this is the defining landmark in Alva where I live. It was an operational woolen mill from 1825 to 1976 according to t'internet, and converted to flats in 1987. I've been living here for 10 years and yet to meet a Strude Mill dweller, but it looks well occupied.

I've always wondered what they look like inside, and when I "Binged" it tonight there were lots of estate agent photos to look through - the ones for rent look a bit boxy.
